Councilwoman Carmalitha Gumbs Honors Veterans Across South Fulton
As the nation pay tribute to our veterans, Councilwoman Carmalitha Gumbs - City of South Fulton joins in by honoring ours at home.
Throughout the week, Councilwoman Gumbs attended and spoke at several events across the City of South Fulton, recognizing local veterans for their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty.
“Today, we remember what’s most important—showing love, compassion, and respect for the brave men and women who have served our nation with unwavering courage and dedication,” said Councilwoman Gumbs. “Their strength, discipline, and sacrifice have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.”
As the proud daughter of a law enforcement officer and veteran, Councilwoman Gumbs reflected on the personal significance of this day, reminding residents that freedom is not given but protected by those who serve.
