Deerwood Acad Educators Resign After Having Sex in School

An assistant principal and a female co-worker at Deerwood Academy in southwest Atlanta have resigned from Atlanta Public Schools after reportedly recording themselves having sex in his school office.

As WSB-TV reports, Carnell Lee, 39, and a 28-year-old woman who was involved in a leadership internship at the elementary school, had sex on his school office desk last year. 

Lee stepped down in early January and the woman, who isn’t being named because she reportedly has filed a stalking complaint against Lee, resigned in early February.

Lee has denied the stalking allegations and APS has declined comment other than to confirm the two educators are no longer employed with this district.

Their relationship reportedly lasted the final the final five months of 2013 and included sex during work hours at the school located at 3070 Fairburn Road.
