Fantasia, Joe, & Dru Hill Performing at Wolf Creek for Labor Day Music Fest

will hold its first annual Labor Day Music Festival on September 1st with performances by Fantasia, Joe, Dru Hill and more.

CENTERTAINMENT and AEG present the Labor Day Music Festival in beautiful yet struggling Southwest Atlanta venue which can hold thousands of spectators.  Just earlier this summer, an Angie Stone concert was cancelled at the last minute due to low ticket sales, which contrasted a widely popular .  The venue is owned and operated by the City of Atlanta, which has received some scrutiny on how it runs the music venue, and why it wants to be in the business.

Ticketmaster has begun selling tickets to the labor day event, yet no word has been released regarding the number of tickets sold up to this point.

Fantasia is a big R&B artist and is likely to draw a large crowd to the festival.  She rose to fame as the winner of the 2004 edition of American Idol, and subsequently she became an eight-time Grammy nominee.  Joe is a well known and accomplished singer who has had a number of hits going back as far as the 1990's.  The event will be hosted by comedian Stanford Lightfoot.

This is an outdoor event and VIP table seating is available with special pricing. The Gates will open at 4:00pm for entry. Coolers and carry-ins (food and beverages) are welcome. Vendors will also be available onsite.
