
A Fulton County Medical Examiner investigator said Monday that a drug overdose took the life of Chris Kelly, of the rap duo Kris Kross.
According to an Associated Press story posted on Access Atlanta, a medical examiner investigator said toxicology tests indicated that Kelly had a drug mix in his system at the time of his death. The investigator said she did not know what drugs he used.
Kelly, 34, passed away in May.
Kelly had a history of drug abuse, the article said, citing information in a police report provided by Kelly's mother in a police report.
