Mitt Romney Chooses Rep. Paul Ryan as Vice President Running Mate

Mitt Romney announces on Saturday morning who his Vice President running mate will be.

The wait is over, Mitt Romney will announce that he has chosen Rep. Paul Ryan to be his Vice President running mate in the upcoming Presidential election.

Paul Ryan is a 7-term congressman from the state of Wisconsin, he is 42 years old and, "the architect of a conservative and intensely controversial long-term budget plan to remake Medicare and cut trillions in federal spending."Β  Ryan becomes one of the very few congressman that have been picked to be on a Presidential ticket.

According to the Fulton County Election office,Β  Cascade and Southwest Atlanta voted overwhelmingly for President Obama and other Democrats 4 years ago.Β  This summer the Republican party has attempted to get some of the voters that voted fro Obama, and have since become disappointed with him, to vote for the Republican alternative this election.
