According to a report by WSB, "a firefighter suffered second-degree burns battling a fire at an abandoned home in northwest Atlanta."
The fire location is near the intersection of Joseph E. Boone and Sunset Avenue in NW Atlanta. Cascade Patch believes the fire started in an abandoned house and spread to an occupied home.
The Atlanta Fire Department said that one of their officers suffered from "minor" injuries and received second-degree burns.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
