Police Investigate Fatal Shooting at MARTA Station

COLLEGE PARK, GA -- Law enforcement officers are investigating a fatal shooting that left a man dead at the MARTA station in College Park, Patch has learned.

The shooting occurred during rush hour Thursday evening, police told local media. A man was about to get on a MARTA bus when a passenger already aboard lunged toward him and shot him, according to WSB-TV.

"We just heard the gunshots and people started running," passenger Jay Stephens told the TV station.
