Trey Clegg Singers Present Two Popular Holiday Concerts

Atlanta's Trey Clegg Singers (TCS) is offering two holiday concerts that are sure to appeal to diverse music lovers across Greater Atlanta!

TCS' chamber music ensemble will present Handel's classic "Messiah" (part 1) on Sunday, Dec. 3, at First Congregational Church of Atlanta, at 3 p.m. The chamber singers will be accompanied by Atlanta Symphoria --an instrumental group led by violinist and concertmaster Felix Farrar.

The Messiah concert also will feature a number of prominent singers in Atlanta's music arts community, notably: Maria Clark, soprano; Pamela Dillard Howland, mezzo soprano; Marcia Chandler, contralto; Justin Cornelius, tenor; and Brandon Graham, bass.

On Sunday, Dec. 17, TCS will perform its popular Christmas concert -- "Festival Sounds of the Season," at 6 p.m., at the Church at Wieuca. Known as Atlanta's premiere multicultural chorus, TCS will offer a wide-ranging concert of traditional Christmas music as well as contemporary and international holiday pieces. The 50-member chorus will be joined by an ensemble from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO).

TCS was founded in 2015 by choral director/master solo organist Trey Clegg; he sought to offer an auditioned, semi-professional and culturally-diverse chorus to metro Atlanta. He envisioned TCS as a choral organization that would seek to use music as a healing force for reconciliation, equality and justice for All.
