Parent Interactive Weekend

Volunteer Need: help with planning, set-up, registration for the day of the event, selling of marketing materials, food and frink set up, child care for any children who show, and help during the weekend with a variety of other needs

How Often: May 17-18, but there is a planning meeting in April and another in May before the event

Volunteer Need: help your assigned youth partner do better in school while reducing or eliminating self-defeating behavior

How Often: This is a serious commitment for about a year. You will meet with your Committed Partner from 5 to 7 PM on Monday or Tuesday afternoons, then write a brief report on your encounter.

Volunteer Need: Volunteers needed to help tutor and mentor homeless children.

How Often: about once a week

Healthy Female Mentors/Running Coaches

Girls on the Run of Atlanta, various Atlanta locations

Volunteer Need: Coaches needed to teach girls, grades 3-8, healthy habits and help them train for a 5K race.

How Often: Meet twice a week for 10 weeks during either the spring or fall program
