2 Seriously Injured When Truck Rear-Ends SUV, Police Say

Two people suffered head injuries when a Ford F-150 pickup truck rear-ended a Kia SUV, causing the SUV to overturn, Cumming Police say.

CUMMING, GA — A crash seriously injured two people Saturday on GA-400, south of Exit 15, Cumming Police said.

The crash happened on 400 between Mary Alice Park Road and Bald Ridge, police said. A Ford F-150 rear-ended a Kia SUV, which then caused the Kia to overturn in the middle of the roadway, police said.

Both occupants of the Kia suffered serious head injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

The person in the F-150 had minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital, police said.

Cumming Police's accident reconstruction team is overseeing the crash investigation. Due to the pending probe, police said no one had been charged as of Saturday.
