Board of Commissioners Approve $59K for Park Improvements
Forsyth County will use the money to upgrade two park facilities.
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners has approved a total of $59,000 for upgrades at Midway Park and Shady Grove campground, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
As requested by the Midway Athletic Club, $40,000 will be spent on new scoreboards at Midway Park, the news outlet reports. The club will spend $16,600 in additional upgrades.
Another $19,000 was approved to upgrade 14 group campground sites at the Shady Grove campground.
