Cumming, Georgia — Every community has its bright spots — the neighbors, businesses and local favorites that make it feel like home. As 2025 comes to a close, Patch and T-Mobile are recognizing the people, places and moments that made this year brighter in Cumming through our Best of 2025 series.

How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

As the only arts center in Forsyth County, they teach children and adults art practices that inspire them to be more creative. They also partner with our local school system to give students the opportunity to exhibit their works.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

I have learned to make mosaics at the Center, and have improved my watercolor techniques. You can learn so much there, and it’s fun!

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

Thanks to all the incredible volunteers that have kept the arts alive in Forsyth County since 1970! We love you!

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

It’s beauty. Lots of trees!
