Employee of the Quarter Named at Sheriff's Office
Sgt. Dan Coombs is recognized due to his skill and expertise in handling a recent eviction of a tenant from a rental property.

Sgt. Dan Coombs has been selected as the Headquarters Bureau Employee of the fourth Quarter in 2011, according to Lt. Col. D.T. Smith of the .
He was recognized due to his skill and expertise in handling a recent eviction of a tenant from a rental property. The property owner said she was nervous and scared of how the eviction was going to go, but felt safe because of Sgt. Coombs.
“The sergeant knew exactly what to do and how to handle that male tenant of mine and during the whole process I never felt like I was in danger," the owner said. "He put my safety first and cared about my feelings the whole time from before we stepped foot on my property until it was over."

Sgt. Coombs has been with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office since October 2002 and is the supervisor of the Civil Process Section in the Court Services Division.
