New 'No Left Turn' Sign On Cumming Square
The sign is located at the intersection of West Maple Street and West Courthouse Square.
Press release from the City of Cumming:
Nov. 4, 2022
Mayor Troy Brumbalow is happy to report that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved a "No Left Turn" sign at the intersection of West Maple Street and West Courthouse Square (the intersection adjacent to Goodson Drug Co. on the square). Mayor Brumbalow said he has been in discussions with GDOT concerning the "No Left Turn" sign at this intersection for more than a year, and is happy that GDOT has now approved the sign. Anyone needing to turn left at this intersection now will need to continue straight through the traffic signal and then turn left onto Bank Avenue or farther down at Cumming Industrial Park Drive (adjacent to the Cumming Fairgrounds Parking Lot #3) to access Hwy. 20/Veterans Memorial Blvd. The "No Left Turn" sign is already in place, so drivers need to remember to travel straight through this intersection.
