• Retired officer killed while directing traffic at Cumming Christmas parade (fox5atlanta.com) — A retired volunteer officer was fatally struck by a vehicle while directing traffic at Cumming’s Christmas parade, with Cumming Police now leading the investigation. Authorities say longtime law enforcement officer and Forsyth County volunteer Robert Muth was hit Saturday night and died Sunday morning, and they have not yet released the cause of the crash or any charging decisions.
