Paws to Consider Your Pets of the Week, Aug. 16

Our featured pets this week include a Labrador-mix and a long haired Tortie.

(HSFC) introduces us to Diana and Jodie, Cumming Patch's pets of the week.

At 2-years-old, Diana is the perfect age to be a wonderful companion for many years to come. A Labrador-mix, you can be sure she will be a loyal and steadfast friend. Great with other dogs, she would love to have a family to call her own. She loves her shelter family, but would much prefer a bigger yard where someone can play with her daily like she deserves, she also loves to go for walks. This sweet black beauty was a rescue from a high kill shelter.

This subdued long haired Tortie is Jodie who is currently living at the campus. Jodie is a sweetheart and loves to be held and cuddled. She will follow your every step and is very dedicated to those who love her. Good with dogs, cats, and children she would be a wonderful addition to any home and so deserves one!

A call for help from the shelter--the campus on 4440 Keith Bridge Road is in desperate need of cat litter and kitten food. Call 770-887-6480 to find out how you can donate the much needed items.

During these hot summer days, if possible keep your pet indoors. If they must be left outdoors, make sure your pet has shade and plenty of water to stay hydrated (click for more tips).
