Pinecrest Academy Seniors Achieve 100% Acceptance into UGA
This achievement is not a one-time occurrence for students at the private Catholic high school.
This past year, about 43,700 applications were submitted to the University of Georgia for the 2023-2024 academic year, and a little more than 15,300 were accepted. This works out to a 35% acceptance rate. With acceptance rates trending in the low 40th percentile in recent years prior, UGA continues to be a highly selective university.
Pinecrest Academy's Class of 2023 has achieved 100% acceptance into The University of Georgia. Out of the 32-member class, 17 seniors applied to UGA, and all 17 have been accepted.

- The Class of 2022 achieved an 86% acceptance rate into UGA, when the average acceptance into the university was roughly 42%.
- The Class of 2021 earned an 86% acceptance when UGA’s overall rate was about 40%.
- The Class of 2020 achieved 63.2% acceptance, as compared to the overall UGA rate of 46%.
Pinecrest Academy’s high school has been ranked by Niche.com as the #1 Catholic High School in the State of Georgia for three consecutive years as well.
