Pinecrest Academy is pleased to present A Pinecrest Christmas, a drive-thru experience designed to “Keep Christ in Christmas,” on Friday, December 10, from 6:00-8:00pm.
Open to the community, visitors to the school’s campus can experience the joy of Christmas from their vehicles, as they drive slowly from station to station, enjoying scenes that reflect the true meaning of the season – the Nativity of Our Lord. Admission is free.

Upon arriving to the Pinecrest Academy campus, guests will remain comfortably in their vehicles and will be greeted at a Welcome station. They will be given a card with a QR code which they can scan with their phone camera to access a guided reflection of each station they will encounter.
After the Welcome station, guests will follow a route that takes them by the following stations:

The Annunciation - A retelling of this beautiful occurrence will feature the school’s youngest students as little angels, fluttering around, celebrating the Angel Gabriel’s message to Mary.
Live Band Music - Traditional Christmas favorites will be played by 5th-12th grade students, including classics like Silent Night, Deck The Hall, Good King Wenceslas, Jingle Bells, Joy To The World, Hark The Herald Angels Sings, We Wish You A Merry Christmas and more.
Keep Christ in Christmas Photo Station - School athletes will be on-hand to take drive-by photos of families - complete with fun signs and photo booth-style props. As soon as each photo is taken, it will automatically upload to a Google folder. The QR code received at the Welcome station will include access to the photo folder.
Traditional Christmas Carols - Children in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will sing beloved Christmas songs while dressed in festive Christmas attire. Songs include Angels We Have Heard on High, The First Noel, Go Tell it on the Mountain, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Little Drummer Boy, Mary Did You Know, O Christmas Tree, O Come All Ye Faithful, What Child is This, and more.
Hot Chocolate Station - Guests can grab a cup of hot chocolate and some treats “to go” as they make their way along the route.
Peek into Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel - Drivers-by can get a glimpse into the school’s main chapel, which will be festively lighted, with doors open, revealing the beautiful sanctuary, another reminder of the “reason for the season.”
Christmas Hymns and Classics - 6th-12th grade theatrical arts students will celebrate the Nativity with their voices, singing music that reflects the meaning of Christmas, including Away in a Manger, O Holy Night, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, The Holly and the Ivy, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and more.
Nativity Scene - Students in Challenge and Conquest Clubs, faith-based clubs at Pinecrest Academy, will be dressed in character, depicting the birth of Our Lord, recreating the Nativity scene in all of its holiness and reverence.
Wise Men Send-off and Goodies - At the final station, visitors will encounter the Wise Men, who will send them on their way with good tidings and a goody bag!

The duration of A Pinecrest Christmas is approximately 10-20 minutes, depending on the number of cars on campus and the flow of traffic throughout the event. A police officer will be directing traffic into and out of campus.
