Two Pinecrest Academy Alums Graduate from West Point
Henry Borgerding and Mark Metz both graduated as Second Lieutenants in May.
Henry Borgerding and Mark Metz, both graduates of the Class of 2021 at Pinecrest Academy, a private Catholic school in Cumming, Georgia, graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point) on May 24, 2025.
Borgerding graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering and commissioned a Second Lieutenant. His initial assignment will be at Fort Benning, Georgia for Infantry Officer School.
Metz majored in Civil Engineering and was on the Wrestling team for West Point all four years. He commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and is assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia for training.
