Two Vehicles Pulled Out of Lake Lanier
Within a span of one week authorities recover two stolen vehicles out of Lake Lanier.
A second vehicle was recently recovered out of Lake Lanier in nearby Mountain View Park, according to a news release by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
The 2003 Toyota Four-Runner was recovered by Hall County divers on July 28 in approximately 23 feet of water, directly out from the boat ramp. The vehicle was originally reported stolen in November 2004 from Oakwood, the news release stated.
The first vehicle, also stolen, a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser, was recovered on July 26th, approximately 75 feet from the more recent one. Both vehicles appeared to have been intentionally rolled into the lake via the boat ramp, and there was no evidence of any further crimes immediately associated with either one.
