When Will it Stop Raining in Georgia?

We've had more than our fair share of wetness in the last few days, but the end of the deluge may be in sight.

The rain that has been inundating Georgia for the past several days may finally be moving on in the next day or so, the National Weather Service says.

Although the NWS extended a flood watch in light of forecast Wednesday rainfall totals of one to two inches, the precipitation should taper off Wednesday night and be gone by Thursday morning.

There’s only a 20 percent chance of rain Thursday morning and early afternoon, and no rain in the extended forecast.
