Gwinnett Police Investigating Double Homicide On Jimmy Carter Boulevard

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett police are investigating a homicide that occurred this week in a shopping plaza parking lot, according to a news release.

Officers responded to a person shot call around 12:30 a.m. Jan. 15 on Jimmy Carter Blvd. When they arrived on scene they found two men with gunshot wounds. One male was pronounced dead, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The names of both victims are being withheld until the family is notified. The incident is under investigation.
