Human Remains Found Near Dacula

DACULA, GA — A passerby found remains that are believed to be human near Drowning Creek Road and Drowning Creek, Gwinnett County Police told Patch.

Not much information was available Tuesday afternoon, police said. The discovery was made Monday evening.

It is unknown who the remains belong to or what may have happened to the person.

The police department is working with the medical examiner to identify the remains and determine the cause of death, police said.
