Taxi Carjacking Suspect Robbed Driver In Gwinnett County: Police
A taxi driver told police he was robbed by gunpoint after picking up a passenger from the Doraville MARTA station, according to police.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint by a passenger who demanded his money and taxi, according to Gwinnett County police.
The robbery happened around 11:45 p.m. Jan. 25 after the victim picked up the suspect from the Doraville MARTA station, police said.
“The suspect directed the victim to drive him to a location into Gwinnett, in unincorporated Norcross,” police said. “The suspect pulled a gun on the victim, demanding his money and taxi.”

The victim described the suspect as a skinny Black male wearing all black clothing. Police said they need help identifying the suspect of the carjacking.
