- The Paulding County Sheriff's Office assisted Cobb County police in arresting a man accused of killing two people and critically injuring a third at a Cobb County apartment complex Monday. Officials arrested Lester Piercefield on Tuesday just one day after 27-year-old Jeremy Davis and 24-year-old Lena Wolfe were found dead at the Premier Apartments in nearby Austell. Authorities have not yet commented on the suspect's motive or provided details about the charges Piercefield will face. (11 Alive)
- The Dallas Public Library is offering a firearm safety course to help keep children safe. The Be S.M.A.R.T curriculum focuses on raising awareness of the importance of proper firearm safety and storage.
