  1. Georgia Highlands College Campuses were closed on Tuesday afternoon during a police investigation of a bomb threat. According to police, the threat was called to 1090 Northchase Parkway just after 11:00 a.m. Police officers entered the building with a school representative and did not find anything to cause concern.   5. Melanie Dallas, the CEO of Highlands Rivers Health, wants to share some helpful information about mental health in Georgia. The Mental Health Parity Act went into effect this month, which forces insurers to provide behavioral health coverage in the same way they cover physical health conditions. Additionally, the Cobb County Community Services Board has been consolidated into Highland Rivers Health, which expands its pool of resources for northwest Georgia.
