- Hiram Offensive Tackle Jameson Riggs has received an offer from Clemson University. The Hiram High School student is one of 28 players receiving offers from the Tigers. Notably, that number of offers is significantly lower than comparable schools like South Carolina or Georgia, which have offered 125 recruits and 142 recruits respectively. - There are dozens of ways to improve your life and how you interact with the world, and the Hiram library's Self Help Book Club wants to help. This month, the club is reading "Daring Greatly" by Brene Brown, a book that promises to help readers learn how to be vulnerable in the best way. - The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Paulding County, among other parts of north Georgia. The warning was issued on Thursday because of the heightened risk of thunderstorms and downed trees. The official statement predicts scattered thunderstorms from today until next Wednesday capable of gusty winds and heavy rainfall. The moistened soil may cause some trees to be downed in the area.
