Dallas Man Charged With Murder In Stabbing Of Woman

The 37-year-old man was recently arrested on murder charges in Lenior City, Tennessee, police said.

DALLAS — A 37-year-old Dallas man was recently arrested in Tennessee after being accused of stabbing a woman to death at Westwood Drive, Dallas Police said Thursday.

Police said officers responded around 10:15 p.m., Nov. 20, to the 140 block of Westwood on a possible suicide call. When they arrived, police said they found Jennifer Hester, 36, laying on the floor with multiple stab wounds.

Officers tried to render aid, but when paramedics arrived, police said Hester was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police accused Brandon Howard of killing Hester and issued a be-on-the-lookout for Howard. Warrants were secured to charge Howard on suspicion of malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault.

Howard was arrested on Nov. 21 by the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office in Lenior City, Tennessee, without incident, police said.
