Man Found Dead In Dallas; Public's Help Needed In Identifying Him
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office have exhausted all measures to identify a man who was found dead in July of an apparent overdose.
DALLAS, GA — Paulding County authorities need help in identifying a man they say died in July due to an apparent overdose.
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office turned to social media Monday in hopes the public can assist with identifying a man they say was found dead on July 27 near a restaurant's dumpsters in the 200 block of Hillside Overlook near Marietta Highway.
Authorities said the man's body was taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's crime lab, where an autopsy was performed and confirmed that the man died of an overdose. Authorities said no foul play was suspected in his death.

"Detectives have been working with the GBI trying to ascertain his identity, but at this point, all investigative methods have been exhausted," authorities said.
Authorities further explained investigators have used DNA databases, fingerprints and dental records to try to identify the man but have not been successful.

The man was described as a white man, who is 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair and is in the age range of mid-30s to 40s, authorities said.
He was wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt, brown sandals and a black bandana at the time of his death, authorities said.
