POLK COUNTY, GA — A Mattie's Call was issued Monday for a Buchanan woman with dementia. Barbara McCray, 83, was last seen at her Dugdown Road residence at about 6 p.m. Saturday. She was wearing a pink shirt, gray shorts and gray Nike tennis shoes. Police, sheriff's deputies and firefighters from Polk, Catoosa and Haralson Counties — along with Georgia State Patrol troopers and others — began searching for McCray Sunday afternoon, working until about 10 p.m. They resumed looking for McCray Monday morning. The criminal investigations division of the Polk County Police Department is handling this as a missing-person case.
