• Paulding 'Drug House' Seized By GA Officials, DA Says (patch.com) — A Dallas home that authorities say was used for drug activity has been permanently seized by the state, along with more than $116,000 in cash, following a Paulding County judge’s order. The ruling comes over two years after a major raid at the property and sends a strong signal that local prosecutors and sheriff’s deputies are aggressively targeting drug operations in Dallas neighborhoods.
   

• Ga Senate panel backs income tax exemption for first $100,000 (northwestgeorgianews.com) — A major state income tax proposal could eventually eliminate Georgia’s income tax, and Dallas-area Sen. Jason Anavitarte says his constituents want the extra money in their pockets. The plan would exempt the first $100,000 for joint filers starting in 2027, then phase out the tax entirely, while trimming special-interest tax credits to offset lost revenue.
