Play Golf To Raise Money For Kids In Need: Paulding Cops For Kids Golf Tournament

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the nonprofit Paulding Cops for Kids is bringing its annual golf tournament back.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — After two years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Paulding County Cops for Kids Inc. annual golf tournament is back.

Paulding Cops for Kids Inc. is a nonprofit that raises money to take underprivileged Paulding County children shopping each Christmas. The golf tournament is the nonprofit's main fundraiser each year, Paulding Sheriff Gary Gulledge said on Facebook.

The golf tournament is set Wednesday, April 27 at 9 a.m. Pre-registration is open now, and only 27 teams can register. Here are the prices to join:

  • Individual golfer: $75
  • Team of four: $300
  • Throws and mulligans: $5 each (limit four)

There will also be a lunch and awards show at the clubhouse afterward. Prizes will be given to first, second and third place winners, as well as the golfer with the longest drive and closest to the pin.
