- Don't forget that the First Annual Hardy Family Ford BroncoFest is happening today from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Attendees can enter for a chance to win a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport, but there will also be fun for the whole family, including food trucks, various vendors, bingo games, and prizes. All proceeds from the event go to the Kiwanis Club of Paulding County. (The Dallas New Era)
- The first session of the new Pokemon Players class at Mount Tabor Park took place on Thursday. This new program is designed for youth who are interested in Pokemon and other youth card-playing games. The program is looking to expand, so keep an eye out for information on the next session from the Paulding County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs. - Hiram High School has released an updated wish list for its Care Cabinet. This food pantry project was started in 2017 to assist economically disadvantaged students. - This year's Summer Reading Program at the Dallas Public Library has officially ended. The winners were announced Thursday and were contacted with details about how to claim their prizes. - The Paulding County Master Gardeners will be available during the Dallas Farmers Market this morning. Shoppers are invited to visit the booth to get answers to their most pressing gardening questions and find solutions to their peskiest lawn problems.
