2 Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies To Mark New Green Spaces In Decatur

Two ribbon-cutting ceremonies will celebrate Decatur's new playground at Midway Park and the new trail, upgraded ballfield at Exchange Park.

DECATUR, GA -- The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs has a couple of upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremonies to celebrate new green spaces for residents to enjoy.

On Wednesday, July 26, county staffers will be on hand to mark the new playground at Midway Park in Decatur. The ceremony will be held at the site at 3181 Midway Road, Decatur, GA 30032. Two days later, the county's Rec & Parks department will commemorate the opening of the new trail and recent renovations done to the football field at Exchange Park. The ceremony, which will be attended by DeKalb staffers along with District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson, is set for 10 a.m.
