Amazon Building New Fulfillment Center In DeKalb, Gwinnett
A total of 1,000 new jobs will be coming to DeKalb and Gwinnett counties with Amazon's new fulfillment center.

ATLANTA — While metro Atlanta may have lost out in the never-ending bid to become a second Amazon North American headquarters, the company is building a new fulfillment center in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties. Gov. Brian Kemp announced late Wednesday the center will create 1,000 new jobs.
Amazon will lease a built-to-suit building, which will be developed by Seefried Industrial Properties, and cover acreage in Gwinnett and DeKalb counties. Employees at the approximately 700,000 square foot facility will pick, pack, and ship customer orders. In addition, Amazon will hire for roles in human resources, operations management, safety, security, finance, and information technology.
“This announcement demonstrates that the Peach State has proven itself as a leading competitor for investment from the world’s most revered companies," Kemp said. ,>
