Crowded Fields Set For Decatur Commission Races

Decatur school board races, however, are uncontested, as qualifying has ended for the city's 2019 municipal elections.

DECATUR, GA — Qualifying has ended for Decatur's Nov. 5 city elections in Decatur, with several crowded city commission races but all of Decatur's school board candidates running unopposed.

Here is a list of the candidates who will be on the ballot this fall for the Decatur city commission

  • District 1, Post B – Erin Braden
  • District 1, Post B – George Dusenbury
  • District At-large – Christopher Gagnon
  • District At-large – Tony Powers (Incumbent)
  • District 2, Post B – Phillip Wiedower
  • District 2, Post B – Chris Stirn
  • District 2, Post B – Lesa Mayer
