Decatur Police Release Sketch Of iPhone Robber

Decatur police continue to look for a thief who pulled a Glock and robbed a man, saying, "Give me your iPhone."

DECATUR, GA -- Police in Decatur have released a sketch of the drive-by thief who aimed a gun at a man before robbing him recently. The incident happened on June 24 about 6 p.m. on Swanton Way according to a report filed by an Officer Adams.

The victim, who has not been named, told police that a black Dodge Dart with tinted windows drove past him then turned around and pulled up beside him. "The front passenger got out of the vehicle, pointed a Glock handgun and stated 'give me your iPhone,' police said. The man complied, but the incident wasn't over.

Drive-By Robber In Decatur: 'Give Me Your iPhone'

Two backseat passengers then got out of the car and swiped man's wallet and backpack before driving southbound on Swanton Way.

Law enforcement authorities are looking for four individuals in connection to this crime:

  • The driver, described as a black male, early 20s, low haircut with a light complexion and slender build. He was wearing a white tank top.
  • The front passenger (armed with a Glock handgun): a black male, mid to late teens, approximately 5' 8", slender build, wearing a gray hoodie.
  • Rear passenger: Black male, dark complexion, wearing a black jacket.
  • Rear passenger: Black male, light complexion, wearing a black shirt.
