DECATUR, GA -- An East Point man has been arrested in the slaying of a man in Decatur, authorities said late Wednesday. Samuel M. Alexander, 26, was apprehended by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit in cooperation with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshal’s Office, authorities said.
Law enforcement officials allege that Alexander fatally shot Adrian Anderson in an altercation that occurred during an armed robbery on Covington Highway on July 7, DeKalb Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Cynthia Baugh Williams said in a news release.
