Getting Ready For Decatur Beach Party
This big pile of sand on East Ponce will be spread out for the fun that starts at 5 p.m. Friday.
Around 10 a.m. Friday, Decatur police blocked off East Ponce de Leon Ave. from Clairemont Avenue to Church Street.
That will make it easier for workers to prepare for the Decatur Beach Party. Tons of sand sit beside East Ponce waiting to be spread on the street.
The fun starts at 5 p.m. Friday and will include music, games, food and lots of entertainment for kids.
