Letter Threatening Anthrax Evacuates Part Of DeKalb Courthouse
The letter, delivered to the DeKalb Superior Court clerk, partially shut down the courthouse and also quarantined some who touched the note.

DECATUR, GA -- A suspicious letter delivered Tuesday by mail to the DeKalb County courthouse in downtown Decatur posed no threat, according to police..
The letter, which was received in the Clerk of Superior Court’s office, contained a note claiming that the envelope also contained anthrax. However, there was nothing in the envelope except the note. The note was tested and found to be harmless.
As a precaution, police did evacuate some areas of the courthouse, and people who came in contact with the letter were temporarily quarantined inside the building.

Police said they have no details on the letter's origin of the letter and no one has been taken into custody either by DeKalb police or the sheriff's office.
