Man Arrested In Execution-Style Slaying Inside Decatur's Lucky Panda

Warrant alleges that Travis Traion Minor, 33, of Decatur fatally shot a man inside the Lucky Panda restaurant on June 8.

DECATUR, GA -- A Decatur man is in custody in the execution-style slaying of a patron inside a Chinese restaurant last month. Travis Traion Minor, 33, was arrested Wednesday by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit assisted by the Doraville Police Department, authorities said.

Minor allegedly gunned down Dedrick Davis on June 8 inside the Lucky Panda restaurant on South Hairston Road in Decatur. The warrant says that after he fired several shots at the victim, hitting him in the back and face, witnesses heard Minor say, “This is for my cousin,” according to DeKalb Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Cynthia Baugh Williams.

Surveillance video shows Minor, who is believed to be related to a victim that was killed days ago, fleeing the scene. Minor was apprehended without incident as he left work in Doraville, authorities said.
