Otis Walker is accused of killing a woman and also shooting a DeKalb County police officer Thursday morning.

DECATUR, GA — A massive manhunt is underway for a man accused of shooting a DeKalb County police officer Thursday morning after killing his girlfriend. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and DeKalb County police, say Otis Walker, 27, should be considered armed and dangerous.

Walker was last seen in the 4800 block of Hodgdon Corners Cove in Lithonia.

A DeKalb police spokesman said officers were responding to a domestic call at a Lithonia home when they were fired upon by a man between two houses. An officer was struck several times. When police were finally able to enter the house, they found the woman, whose name has not been released, critically injured. She died at the scene.
