Melinda Drive In DeKalb Will Be Closed On Monday, Aug. 7

Melinda Drive will be closed to through traffic on Monday, Aug. 7 so that a crane can be operated safely for a tree removal project.

DECATUR, GA -- A major thoroughfare in Decatur will be closed to traffic beginning on Monday, Aug. 7, DeKalb County announced Tuesday. Melinda Drive Northeast will be shut down from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Nancy Lane Northeast to Sunset Drive Northeast, officials said.

The closure will be so that a large crane can be used to remove two trees at 2527 Melinda Drive Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30345. Motorists driving in the area can expect to see road closure and detour signs amid the construction
work and traffic restrictions.
