School Bus, Multiple Vehicles Crash In DeKalb

DECATUR, GA — A DeKalb County school bus and multiple other vehicles were involved in a crash Wednesday afternoon in the 5100 block of Covington Highway near Wesley Chapel Road, both school officials and police said.

Possibly at least three vehicles were involved in the crash around 3:30 p.m., DeKalb County Police communications officers told Patch.

The DeKalb County School District said the crash happened when "a DCSD bus made contact with a vehicle."

There were no reported injuries, school officials said. It is unknown if students were aboard the bus at the time of the crash.
