Soledad O’Brien To Speak At Agnes Scott Graduaton
The CNN journalist will address the 2013 graduates at the ceremony that starts at 9:30 a.m. May 11.

Soledad O’Brien of CNN will give the commencement speech May 11 at Agnes Scott College commencement ceremonies, the college reported on its Facebook page.
The ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. on the Presser Quadrangle.
O'Brien is an Emmy-winning journalist who hosted the CNN documentary "Black in America" and "Latino in America." She anchored the CNN morning show "Starting Point" until March.

She still works with CNN, but "will produce documentaries independently with her own production company," the Huffington Post reported.
The Rev. Dorothy Collin Horne, the minister of congregational life at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte and mother of Senior Class President Sally Horne, will speak at the baccalaureate vespers on at 4:30 p.m. May 10 in Gaines Chapel in Presser Hall.

Last year's speaker was Kay Krill, a Agnes Scott graduate who forged a career as a CEO in the retailing industry.
