  1. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has shared an update on a recent narcotics investigation. On Dec. 7, the Special Investigation Division received a tip that there may have been illegal narcotics being held at a nearby self-storage facility; a search warrant turned up a cardboard box with 12 kilograms of cocaine inside. As of Sunday, no arrests have been made, though charges are pending. (Douglas County Sheriff's Office)
  2. Douglasville boxer Brad "King" Solomon squared off against Raul "Cugar" Curiel in Saturday's Golden Boy Fight Night: LA Edition. Cugar defended his title of NABF Welterweight, defeating King in the second round. Despite the loss, Solomon still boasts an impressive record of 29-6 with nine KOs. (East Side Boxing)

The Douglasville Police Department invites the community to a “Parenting 101” class tomorrow, Dec. 20, at 6:30 p.m. The class will be held at the department's Community Room and feature presentations on domestic violence, trauma in the family, and helping children deal with big feelings.   4. A Douglasville high school running back is in high demand among top college football programs. Jamarion Wilcox, who plays for South Paulding High School, reportedly visited Auburn this weekend.
