3 Douglasville Parks To Get Facelifts, Redesign
The Douglasville City Council has selected a redesign firm to improve 3 Douglasville parks based on community input.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – The Douglasville City Council recently voted to unanimously approve the selection of Goodwyn, Mills, and Cawood, Inc. for the redesign of Jessie Davis Park, Mill Village Park, and Willing Workers Park.
The Atlanta-based firm specializes in landscape architecture, park facility design, park planning, and public engagement. Once the contracts are finalized, the estimated timeframe of the redesign of these three parks from the site assessment stage through the project finalization is 25 months.
Community meetings will be held after the topographic surveys and environmental assessments have been completed to include the wants and needs of the community for these parks.
