4 Arrested For Drive-By Shooting In Douglas County
Four people were arrested June 1 for shooting six times at a Douglasville home.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- Four people were arrested June 1 for shooting six times at a Douglasville home, located at 3674 Lower Creek Drive, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported.
Tacory Denard Broome, 19, of Riverdale; Anthony Yarnez Harris, 17, of Fairburn; Alan Lloyd Cofield, 18, of Douglasville; and Eric Tyone Rogers, 19 of Douglasville; were arrested for aggravated assault, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of misdemeanor marijuana.
At approximately 10:22 p.m. the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting a there drive-by shooting.

Deputies responded to the area and located an eye witness who was able to give a very detailed description of the vehicle that was being driven by the shooters. Deputies that were in the area were able to locate that vehicle, a 2011 silver Impala displaying a blue and white drive out dealer tag, at a local gas station. The vehicle was stopped and four occupants were taken into custody. A stolen handgun was recovered from the vehicle with an empty magazine. The handgun was the same caliber as the shell casings recovered from the scene. Also a misdemeanor amount of marijuana was recovered from the vehicle.
Investigators discovered that the residence was struck six times as well as a vehicle that was parked in the driveway and that seven .40 caliber S&W casings were found in the roadway.
