Belk Outlet Plans Grand Opening In Douglasville
The new outlet is one of five nationwide locations first announced in March.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Newly opened Belk Outlet will hold a grand opening ceremony Saturday at 6640 Douglas Blvd., according to company representatives in a news release this week.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Live music, giveaways and treats are planned for customers, reps said.
The first 200 customers will receive a Belk gift card, with values ranging from $5-$500, reps said. Belk offers clothing, shoes, handbags and home décor.

The outlet announced five upcoming locations on March 28, including the Douglasville store, which opened on April 4. The remaining four stores are in South Carolina, Virginia, Arkansas and Tennessee.
Belk Outlet is part of Belk's newly launched initiative to afford customers discounted items at a reasonable price, according to the March news release. The items in the new outlets will come from Belk's larger retail locations.
