Why are you seeking elective office?
I have some unfinished business. Projects takes time, money and patience. I am not done until I see the completion of what I’ve started. I’ve seen so many projects aborted because of a change of leadership. I do not want Douglasville to become desolate just because of someone’s agenda doesn’t align with what the people want.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The pressing were renovating parks and roads, and me and my constituents got together to bring about change. I am open to hearing and accepting new challenges from our residents.
What are your short- and long-term goals if you are elected?
To complete the amphitheater, and town green (short term), Master plan for long term is redevelopment, infrastructure, and affordable housing.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I have 12 years of experience as a City Official. I am sure that the other candidates can bring something to the table but my focus is not on what they (other candidates) can or cannot do, my focus is on what I’ve done and can further do for the community.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

How do you think local officials performed in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?
I think that we have done well in responding to the virus. I am the creator for “Shot-4-Shot” (no appointment necessary at Tito’s Lounge/Premiere Drugstore) and have been featured on CNN, and local news for doing so.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
I’ve set up community food banks for citizens in need. Bringing the community together by bringing entertainment (Amphitheater), social events (Wednesday Wine Down) and businesses to the city of Douglasville.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I along with my constituents brought Douglasville Conference Center to the city, a new public safety building.
What do you like best about living in your city (or county)?
I was born and raised here. I like how the city has grown to cater to families and businesses. Douglasville provides a learning environment for our future leaders. I have had several opportunities to mold future leaders myself. This city does not have gatekeepers to turn around anyone who is willing to try.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
My campaign manager, Mr. Calhoun told me to remain humble and positive, and put my energy and focus on the people and city of Douglasville.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am a community activist and leader. Count on me again, I like to make things happen.
